On May 15th, Delta hosted a demonstration of a new building product called Koreteck™. The meeting at Delta's Liberty Square construction site was attended by over 30 people including architects, developers, contractors as well as the local building officials.
The Koreteck panelized building system is a complete envelope system that replaces metal studs, insulation, and exterior sheathing with the superior performance of a solid noncavity wall. Installation is fast and easy with fewer skilled tradesmen, especially important in New England with its relatively short construction season. And interior and exterior finishes can be applied just as with any other building material. Koreteck building system panels combine R values ranging from 24.8 for a 6" thick panel to 33 for an 8" thick panel with excellent mold resistance properties.
This is Delta's first use of this product and we hope to incorporate it on future projects. Liberty Square, a three story retail and office building on the corner of Main and Liberty Streets is the first new development to be constructed in the north end in years.
Construction has begun on the new Liberty Square project for Harding Development Group in Middletown, CT. This project includes the demolition and remediation of an old gas station and the relocation of a historic structure. This 3 story structure will house "It's Only Natural", a health food store, on the first floor as well as a branch of the U.S. Post Office. Choice Magazine will move its Middletown headquarters to the third floor. The second floor is available for lease. For information contact Peter Harding at 860-343-3002. O'Leary Group – Southhampton, MA
Delta Building Corp. is now affiliated with The O'Leary Group, a 53 year old Butler builder servicing Western Massachusetts.
Morgan Stanley – Essex, CT
Delta Building Corp. is completing renovations for Morgan Stanley at 16 Saybrook Road, Essex, CT. This project includes "Class A" office fit-up with the latest in voice and data technology.
Land
Delta has sites available in Cromwell, Middletown, and Essex, CT. Delta is currently seeking approvals for a hotel and restaurant to be located off Exit 21 of I-91 in Cromwell.
